"Man and Woman" - The Precious Alchemy of Union

Created in 2019, this semi-abstract artwork brings to life the deep connection between two forces: a male centaur whose head merges into the head of his woman. Out of this profound union, a singular idea is born-the physical and spiritual concrete reality of being together. The color palette is intentionally warm and filled with passion, beautifully enhanced by gold and copper inserts that shimmer across the medium. I frequently use gold in my art because, to me, it represents the ultimate, most superior element-the most precious thing in existence. By placing it at the heart of this piece, wanted to elevate and make even more sacred the very concept of the union between these two figures.
